I'm a 29 year old mom to one, an she is 2 1/2 years old. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart for six years now.
My career in Early Childhood Education/ childcare began in 2006, where I was a infant toddler teacher for about two years. after which I tried to make a move that just didn't work out. So that puts me at my last job before I became a SAHM or work from home. At this point in my life things were o.k. , I loved my co-workers, and the children and parents that I was taking care of. But i fall 2009 we found out we were expecting our first child.
Becoming a SAHM
Even before we started planning to have a child it was brought up a couple of times by the both of us about me staying home once we started having children. But once we found out, we worked towards making that a possibility. And in April 2010 MJ was born (girl). Well do to the fact that I was working at a daycare me taking MJ with me to work made it a little easier to hold off on me staying at home. This lasted about a year, in fall 2011 I was finally able to stay at home. I LOVE being a SAHM!!!! Maybe a month after being home, a friend was in need of childcare of her four month old, so I began watching him. This gave me an ideas for extra income to watch children of family and friends. So i put the word out there.
Fast-forward about six months later and MJ is turning 2 and....

Being a SAHM takes a certain person, and by no means is it a easy job. You have to be mentally strong, and emotionally strong to deal being at home, not having to rush here and there, I think it actually slows you down a sec from the rush of the world.
I was asked if I wanted to take on any more children.(one day owner/open my center) Keeping this in mind I said yes. In April of 2012 I began watching a brother and sister. So that would make four. And in August the current family recommended me to a friend and that's when i got my last child. So I now have five children in my care including my own. So there is the story, my life where I stand today.
